Colorize a Black/White Ansel Adams Image

For this assignment I did the exact same thing as the project before.

Colorize a Black/White Image

For this assignment I started by opening the bowl of fruit that I used for the fruit person project and made it into a black and white image. I then used a 14% opacity brush and used multiple layers to not make it look like a cartoon.

Picasso-esque Cubist Digital Portrait

For this assignment I started by taking two photos of me, one from the front and one from the side. I then used the magnetic lasso tool on the picture of me from the side so that I could put it on top of the other picture. I then went into art rage and used the paint tube tool and the palette knife to make an interesting background.

Surrealist Digital Portrait (Fruit/Vegetables)

For this assignment I started by searching for an image of a youtuber that I watch and then used miscellaneous fruits to replace his face. Once I finished with the face, I put it in a bowl of fruit.

Surrealist Digital Landscape

For this assignment I started by searching for a picture of Antarctica, after that I started to search for pictures that you wouldn't see in Antarctica, such as the hiker on the mountain, the palm tree, the umbrellas, and the boat. After, I added the picture of the cloud and put my brothers face on it, then I added the cats and dogs coming from the cloud because of the saying it's raining cats and dogs.

Warhol-esque Painting

For this assignment I started by taking a photo of myself and then put it in photoshop. Next I made a new blank photoshop document large enough that I could put four of the photos in evenly. I went back to the original photo and made it black and white. Then I adjusted the hue and saturation to give the images different colors. I then individually moved the four images into the blank document.

Georgia O'Keeffe Inspired Digital Painting

For this assignment I started by searching for a flower that would be simple but look good in this style. Next I moved the image into photo shop and outlined the flower. For the middle part I used the blur tool and then surrounded it using the purple paint brush. Then I used multiple colors for the pedals to make it look kind of realistic. Then I started to blend the the colors together. Finally I used the green paint bucket tool to fill in the background.

Digital Post-Impressionist Portrait

For this assignment I took a picture of myself and used the same brush as I did in the previous assignment to do the same thing as the post impressionist landscape.

Digital Post-Impressionist Landscape

For this assignment I started by searching for a landscape in google images. After I found a good image I moved it into photoshop and used a rubber duck brush to make the image appear spotty. I used many different colors to make the image appear lifelike. Since the image had some white spots without the original image and I couldn't fill them without making the image look weird, I kept the original photo without it looking to original.

Digital Painting of Choice

For this assignment I started by opening sketchbook pro and fiddling with the tools. For the sword I used the french curve to get a better curve. For the mask I used the mirror to make it look the same on both sides. For the background I used the paint bucket tool to fill in the sky and drew in the trees and clouds after.

Create a New Logo for Favorite Brand

For this assignment I decided to use photoshop instead of art rage so that I could make it look better. I started by searching for a picture of a cartoon can that I could use to make the can in the top left. Then I did my best attempt to draw a cup and make it look like coke was being poured into it. Finally I used the text tool to write Coca Cola

ArtRage Formal Informal Blance

For this assignment I opened ArtRage and used stencils and other tools to make a similar image on both sides. Although it is not exact on both sides it is still formal because it is very similar. The blue line on the right is not the same as the other side and that is abut the only thing that's different.

Street Art Piece in ArtRage

For this assignment I started by searching for a picture of a wall and opened it in ArtRage. I then used stencils to fill the wall with art therefore creating street art. For the words I used letter stencils and for the other images I used two or three stencils on top of the other.

ArtRage Stencils: Rythm/Movement

For this assignment I opened ArtRage and filled the background with a solid color. I then used a whole bunch of different stencils, sometimes one on top of the other to make cool art.

Rothko-esque Painting

For this assignment I started by opening art rage and selecting the setting required in the instructions. After that I selected the paint tube tool and selected three different shades of red. I then used the palette knife and paint roller tools to merge them. I then got three new colors and put them on top of the blend, I then did the exact same thing with those colors.

Celebrity With Animal Name

For this assignment I goggled a picture of Tony Hawk and a hawk. After I had both of these images I opened them in photoshop and moved the Hawk on top of Tony Hawk. I then resized the image of the hawk so that it was the same size as Tony Hawks face. Afterwards I started to use a low opacity eraser to blend the two. After I finished blending I made a solid color background and put it in a frame.

Scanned Felt Tip Drawing

For this assignment I started by drawing with a felt pen. After I did this I scanned it and uploaded it to my computer. Once it was on my computer I opened photoshop to add color to the image. I used the gradient tool for all of the jelly fish and the water and the paint bucket tool for the fish.
